Legacy Fighting Alliance saw their women’s bantamweight title up for grabs at Friday’s LFA 211 in Salamanca, New York.

Canada’s Sierra Dinwoodie and Brazilian Bia Mesquita brought identical 4-0 records to the fight, with the vacant title up for grabs. The 135lb belt had previously been held by Jacqueline Cavalcanti, who vacated the title when she signed with the UFC.

Mesquita was a decorated star in the BJJ world, having won gold at the World Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2021. Not to mention golds at ADCC, the Brazilian Nationals, and other tournaments.

Also appearing on Friday’s LFA 211 card, the undefeated Phumi Nkuta, long a top prospect, was looking to improve to 10-0.
