RIZIN 10th Anniversary Super Powerhouse Festival Full Results


It was to have been headlined by Ryan Bader making his promotional debut and looking to claim heavyweight gold. In the wake of Bader withdrawing due to injury, however, RIZIN’s annual New Year’s Eve show, the promotion’s 10th Anniversary, still featured a full five title fights.
Among those, a headlining bout featuring Mikuru Asakura (brother of UFC’s Kai Asakura), oooking to claim featherweight gold opposite champ Razhabali Shaydullaev. In the co-headliner, long-serving lightweight champ Roberto “Satoshi” de Souza put his belt on the line against Ilkhom Nozimov. RIZIN’s flyweight grand prix wrapped with the vacant title on the line between TUF vet Hiromasa Ougikubo and Yuki Motoya, while Bellator motormouth Danny Sabatello looked to claim bantamweight gold against champion Naoki Inoue.
Rounding out the five-pack of title fights, undefeated super atomweight champ Seika Izawa faced off against Rena Kubota.
