After losing the series of competitors, and after he dropped the lightweight LFA title, Jacobi Jones finds the recovery, after he won his second consecutive victory in LFA 211 on Friday in Salamana, New York.
The setbacks he suffered, first on DWCS and then in the battle of the title with Kegan Gennrich almost a year and a half ago, is something that Jones found a silver lining.
“They definitely put me in the position I needed to be. When I took these losses, I felt as if I was at the top of the world and I was definitely doing things I shouldn’t have,” Jones (8-3) admitted on Friday, and I spoke to Cageside after beating Shovkhal Churchae. “I feel that they came in time. I took a big step in my life, and I moved to Phoenix with coach Krauch, the laboratory and all these men. They definitely brought me back.”
This will be the MMA laboratory, and coach John Crawch, who has become one of the prominent destinations in this sport. Now, Jones feels ready for another shot in The Big Show. “As I said, we are in a series of winning your dead. We are just waiting for the call, as you know. Anything, any time, anywhere.”
Next season from Dana White competition series It can be a potential landing spot. It is rumored that two former Jones enemies are in the exhibition. Despite their victories, Jones is not upset with the situation.
“This is not annoying at all,” Jones said. “These men have worked on their donkeys to reach these situations. I know what I did in my position in the series of competitors and what is wrong that happened in that period of my life,” Jones said. “But no, I am not jealous at all. God’s plan, I am ready for anything. If they give me the opportunity to return and get it again, I will be ready this time. Or whatever happens. Short battles.
